Sweden’s Spelinspektionen regulatory body warned 66 companies approved to operate under the country’s new gambling regulations, which took effect on January 1, to comply with its rules or face losing their licenses. In a strongly worded letter, Spelinspektionen said some of the lapses that the companies commit include their failure to check customers’ names against the new Spelpaus self-exclusion register and their omission of the Spelpaus logo on their websites.
