William Hill said they are expecting their 2018 adjusted operating profit to come in around £234m, a 15% decline from 2017’s annual result. The UK-listed bookmaker cited two factors that affected the decline in their operating profit: the need to enhance its online customer due diligence measures; and the rise in costs driven by its US market expansion efforts.
