Malta Gaming Authority’s (MGA) executive chairman Joseph Cuschieri, picked the perfect time to move on to a new role in the European gaming jurisdiction.

 

The law was changed to accommodate Cuschieri.

The MGA boss will be stepping down to become the CEO of the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA). The government amended the law to create Cuschieri’s position. The MFSA oversees all financial services in Malta, including credit institutions, financial and electronic money institutions, securities and investment services, insurance, consumer education, and consumer protection.
