Come April most of those in the industry will be gearing up for the iGaming Super Show but for the hardy souls that want a conference fix and stay up to speed with the latest technology help is at hand.
Gambling Technology Strategies 2011 will be taking place at Le Méridien Piccadilly, at the centre of the iGaming universe London on Tuesday, April 5 to Wednesday, April 6. The same people that organized the successful International Gambling Law Summit, footage of which can be seen at the previous International Gaming Law Summit , bring the conference to you.
Given the fact that technology is continually affecting the future of the gambling industry, the conference brings together operators, industry leaders and their advisors to answer the important questions that you need to know.
Split across two days, each day will have a number of seminars and round tables looking at different facets of the industry.
After some opening remarks from the chair, the first morning of the conference will take an in-depth look at the technology that is at the forefront of regulation with the help of Vladimiro Comodini, Head of Technology, RSM Malta. The remainder of the session will be taken up by a round table looking at regulatory and policy developments across Europe. Just before lunch there will also be seminar looking at how to choose the correct vendor
The afternoon will include a seminar on technology and the changing face of sports betting. Finally, the role of social networking and the gambling industry will be touched upon, in a session given by Charles-Antoine Idrac, Founder and CTO, Friendbet.
If you don’t have too much of a hangover, day two will begin in earnest with registration and coffee at 8:30am before Olafur Andri Ragnarsson, Chief Software Architect, Betware, gives a talk on taking advantage of the growth in mobile gaming. Preventing data leakage to avoid fines and retain player confidence is the next item on the agenda, the morning concluding with two sessions: one on creating a fair deal for affiliates and operators, the other looking at the standards, regulations and best practices for IT infrastructure within the online gambling industry.
Next up, Hyperion Gaming Consultant, Nick Norman, will present a talk on security and payments in online gaming, the final session of the conference looking at the best way to overcome challenge when setting up a new operator, delivered by Hervé Schlosse, President and Founder, France Paris.
Rest assured if you can’t make Gambling Technology Strategies 2011 there will be extensive coverage right here on the tablog, and if there’s a party we’ll be there to capture all the action.
