Macau has already become the venue of choice for casinos looking to expand their business, and in addition to being called the Vegas of the East, their revenue increased at a seemingly unstoppable rate for yet another month. Now they’re being bitten by the live poker bug that was most recently seen at its plush pad at the home of iGaming, London. So after the last month’s offering in British Poker Festival, including the WPT, WSOPE, and EPT, China’s gambling enclave is readying itself for the Asian Poker Tour in around a month’s time.
The City of Dreams will play host to the event that begins on the 6th November, and even the Hard Rock Hotel Macau now want a piece of the action. Anyone playing in the APT Macau can apply for special rates to stay at the hotel, where they can live out a dream life as both a rock star, whilst still being a poker player, in the rock themed bedstead. The discount is available until 23rd October, and to gain the discount just mention you’re a participant in the APT Poker Tournament, and upon checkout just show proof of your participation.
Participants will be aiming to emulate last year’s winner Adrien Allain, who took home a cool HK$3,035,000.
