Partypoker delves deeper into the goldmine of Eastern European poker after forging a partnership with Poker Club Management to sponsor the Eurasian Poker Tour.
It seems the all seeing eye of the partypoker brand is firmly fixed on Eastern Europe after they announced a five-year deal with Poker Club Management to become the headline sponsor of the Eurasian Poker Tour (EAPT).
The first event to carry the partypoker banners and sigil will be the €1m GTD partypoker EAPT Montenegro 16-25 June. The 5-star Splendid, Merit Royal Casino in the seaside resort of Budva, will turn their conference centre into a poker room set to handle ten days of tournament and cash game action.
It’s one of many events taking place across Eastern Europe including the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) – created after the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. Each event will carry a $500,000 Guarantee with a $1,100 Main Event. Each season finishes with a $1m Guaranteed Finale.

The new move comes after partypoker, and Poker Club Management worked together to organise the successful partypoker Million Sochi, where 1,170 entrants created a $1,134,900 prize pool and Ukrainian Dmitry Chop, walked away with the $225,000 first prize.
The event was so successful; the pair has already announced plans to return to the same venue to host a $5,300 buy-in $5m Guaranteed partypoker MILLIONS in Sep 1-11.
The news of the deepening Eastern European connection comes hot on the Achilles of partypoker signed two of the region’s biggest stars in Anatoly Filatov and Dzmitry Urbanovich.
