The stock, which traded as low as 20p two years ago, is currently trading at almost four times that value, reflecting the miraculous turnaround the company has made since the UIGEA destroyed its US-facing business. Sportingbet, which now relies on Europe for 90% of its business, can expect to attract a wider range of potential investors who are legally prohibited from backing companies in the less-regulated AIM.
