Turkey's accession is a two-way streetTurkey may have banned internet gambling in 2006 and enforced a UIGEA-style dictat forbidding Turkish banks and credit card companies from facilitating transactions with Internet gambling, but that hasn’t stopped Betsson and SportingBet from continuing to do a roaring trade. Goldman Sachs estimates that some 26% of Betsson’s revenues come from Turkey – and good on them for sticking to their guns.
