partypoker partner with King’s for the Big Wrap; Rio player panel and a warning

Three pieces of poetry from the palate of partypoker including a PLO partnership with King’s Resort, a beast of a player panel lineup in Rio, and a warning to be on your guard against guns, knives and deadlifts.

A sibling is a distinct possibility.

A nephew or niece, not so much.

It seems that as our genes become diluted, so we develop a couldn’t give a fuck attitude.

Ants have fixed this problem by having one mother that gives birth to the entire colony, so every single pain in the arse ant that invades your home because of the idiot who drops food down the crack of the sofa while watching reruns of Friends on Netflix is a sibling.

partypoker is developing the same philosophy.

Tom Waters, Rob Yong or John Duthie – one of them is the queen, and the World Series of Poker (WSOP), World Poker Tour (WPT), and the likes are siblings.

Take the King’s Casino in Rozvadov, for example.

Right now, as you scratch your arse and sniff your finger, Leon and his flock are hosting the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) culminating in a €1,700 buy-in, €1.1m GTD Main Event.

In a bid to hold the player’s hostage for a week longer, King’s is leaning on their partnership with partypoker LIVE to host a Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) tournament duplex.

The Big Wrap PLO Festival takes place April 1 – 8 and will consist of two events (I added that for the people from outside of the US who don’t know what a duplex is). The first carries the title The Big Wrap Warmup and is a €550 buy-in, €200,000 Guarantee with three starting flights running April 1-3. Then a dreamy looking €2,350 buy-in, €1m GTD The Big Wrap Main Event takes place April 5-8.

You can catch the action on the King’s Resort livestream, and the first 50 people who buy-in to the Main Event using partypoker PP LIVE Dollars earn three nights free accommodation in the King’s Resort.

Partypoker MILLIONS Player Panel; Watch Those Pockets

The King’s Resort is also home to the partypoker MILLIONS Europe, but way, way, way before 10-18 August, partypoker paramours are up to their neck in fake bums and world-class dribblers. I am, of course, talking about the MILLIONS South America, and partypoker’s first visit to the Copacabana.

Outside of the poker action, we have already told you that Phil Hellmuth Jr is holding a poker masterclass, and now we can reveal that partypoker plan to host a Player Panel allowing the sheep to engage in dialogue with some of the mightiest shepherds in the business.

The pow-wow takes place on Wednesday, March 20.

Check this out for a custard tart of a panel.

Mike Sexton, Sam Trickett, Isaac Haxton, Fedor Holz, Patrick Leonard, Bertrand Grospellier, Bruno Fitoussi, Jason Koon, Philipp Gruissem, Joao Simao, Mikita Badziakouski and Timofy Kuznetsov.

Be there or be a Goldilocks bear.

If you are in Rio for the MILLIONS South America, then please be careful.

I will hand the end of this article over to Steven van Zadelhoff to explain.

Daily dose of #copacabana 😍🇧🇷 . A couple staying in our hotel got robbed at gunpoint and roughed up yesterday, with a knife on her throat…right in front here on the beach in broad daylight.. . I had a super fun night out yesterday though, so still loving the city and culture 😄 And squeezed in a heavydeadlift session this afternoon which helped me forget my lost phone and return to my standard high energy and happiness levels hehe; if we are fit, strong and happy the rest is all details… . Poker wise all good, played the first $1100 side event today and made some new Brazilian friends. My new favourite Portuguese word is “nada”, they say it very often here after they put in all their money and have to open their cards! 😍😎 . Tonight out for a fancy dinner with @spaceyfcb – he’s the expert so i’m in good hands, pics will follow! 🍔🍟😋 . #vamos #welcometorio #hernamewaslola #yesfilter #nada #beachlife

Steve, I love the seamless segway from “a couple in our hotel got beaten up at gunpoint and a knife held at a throat” to “I had a super fun night out yesterday, and squeezed in a heavy deadlift session.”
