Prague – 19 February 2019 – Artificial Intelligence has not yet taken over the multiple tasks that are affecting our daily lives. However, these times are slowly approaching and we will wake up one day and AI will affect how we live, work and entertain ourselves.
Voice-powered personal assistants like Siri and Alexa are already used by many and fundamental technologies such as behavioral algorithms, suggestive searches and autonomously-powered self-driving vehicles are also in use today.
The gambling industry has also seen its fair share of contribution to the development of AI and is already used by several operators to target players by behavioral algorithms.
AI is also used in processing Big Data and enhances your offer for the players in both your online and land-based operations. As announced earlier this month, Alex Kornilov, CEO & Founder at BETEGY, is going to have a short presentation during Prague Gaming Summit and explain how they are using AI to help process Big Data.
The idea of implementing AI for early detection of problematic gambling behavior and individualized customer approach has started a couple of years ago and it has evolved into an industry that is driving Responsible Gambling towards a new era.
At the third edition of Prague Gaming Summit, Kim Mouridsen (Professor at Aarhus University, Founder and Managing Director Cercare Medical, Founder at Mindway AI) is going to join the “(Horus Session) Safe Gambling – IT security and AML / KYC” panel discussion and bring the latest findings in the field of using AI and identifying different types of problematic behavior which allows them to generate targeted and individualized conversation guides that can be used in reaching out to customers either online or by an operator’s help-line staff.
Kim Mouridsen, PhD, is Professor at Aarhus University, Associate Professor and Head of Neuroimaging Methods at the Center for Functionally Integrative Neuroscience and MINDLab. He has previously worked at the University College of London and held faculty positions at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He has a track-record of developing clinically applicable decision support tools and predictive models, and developed the core technology used in Mindway AI as well as Cercare Medical which provides artificial intelligence based decision support for acute patients at hospitals. As an entrepreneur, Kim has co-founded several successful companies within decision support and artificial intelligence.
Kim has published over 60 papers in peer-reviewed journals (H-index: 22) including Nature Medicine, and holds 6 patent applications. He is a professor in artificial intelligence at Aarhus University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences and is a frequent keynote speaker at international conferences as well as industry consultant.
