Japanese star Kosei Ichinose, and the Australian Adrian Attenborough have both joined the Asian-facing online poker room Natural8 as part of Team Hot.
The Asian-facing online gambling outfit Natural8 has beefed up their rank and file hoping to make a bigger impact at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) with Kosei Ichinose and Adrian Attenborough joining the team.
Japanese export, Ichinose, is currently ranked #4 in the Japanese Global Poker Index (GPI) rankings and holds the exalted claim to fame of being the first Japanese player to make SuperNova Elite, earning his stripes back in 2010.
Ichinose has won close to $500,000 in live tournaments, including a victory in the recent Poker King Cup in the Venetian Macau for $43,000. His largest live score came in November when he finished third for $83,296 in a Warm Up Event at the 2016 Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP).
Natural8 isn’t Ichinose’s first rodeo. The Japanese star was the first player from his country to represent PokerStars Team Pro, joining in October 2015.
The second player you’ll find wearing a Natural8 patch in a live event near you is Adrian Attenborough. The 23-year old is currently ranked #9 in the Australian GPI Rankings and has amassed close to $700,000 in live tournament earnings, and over $2m playing online.
It’s been a good year for Attenborough. Not only has he picked up a wage for representing one of the main online poker sites in his region, but he has also earned a few scores of note on the live scene.
In February, Attenborough defeated 283 entrants to win the $193,172 top prize in the PokerStars LIVE Macau Poker Cup. He finished 3/1164 in the Star Poker Festival APL Main Event for $91,035 and took 15th in the PokerStars Championship High Roller, Macau for $33,720. Attenborough is currently mixing it up at the WSOP where he recently cashed in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em Six-Handed event.
Both Ichinose and Attenborough join Kitty Kuo, Xuan Liu and Dong Kim who were the first representatives of Natural8’s Team Hot when they joined back in October.
Also joining the team as a Friend of Natural8 is the Chinese poker player, Sai Wu. Wu joins the other Friend of Natural8, Wang Zhong, and both players will promote the brand within the Asian realm.
Natural8 offers poker, sports betting, and a casino product. They have also been hosting online satellites to the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Festival in Macau.
If you are in Las Vegas for the WSOP and want some free grub, then find Kitty Kuo, grab a Natural8 patch, stick it on your lapel, and she will buy you a free meal from American Dave.
And one final piece of Natural8 news, if you are interested in receiving a spot of one-on-one coaching from Natural8 Ambassador Xuan Liu, then you are in luck. Liu is currently offering her services via Xpeeria, a start-up that sells ‘experiences’.
If you want to ‘experience’ some of Xuan’s time then an hour, plus a hand history review, will set you back $250.
