Countdown to iGaming Super Show begins

May 2017 (London) – The countdown to the 2017 iGaming Super Show has begun, with this year’s event set to take place in Amsterdam between 11-14 July at the RAI.

The iGaming Super Show, which is the biggest dedicated exhibition and conference for the igaming industry, is set to attract 4,500 delegates from more than 100 countries. Registration is currently tracking at a 15% increase in registered attendees YoY, which follows the same trend as other iGaming Business events that have taken place in the past year.

Of these delegates, around 35% will be operators, 32% affiliates, 28% vendors, 3% media and 2% regulators – truly making the iGaming Super Show an event that represents the entire igaming industry.

There are a lot of new features at this year’s event – but two of the biggest changes have been that the event is slightly later this year, and the official hotel has moved to the Ramada Apollo.
Shona ODonnell, Event Director at iGaming Business said: “Previously the iGaming Super Show has taken place late May or early June – meaning that every second year we were isolating everyone in the industry that works in the sports betting sector.

“The move to July means that we have found a permanent ‘home’ for the iGaming Super Show. The event has always been a place where everyone in the industry could gather to do business, and it was important to us that we were not holding an event over an extremely busy period for a lot of our delegates.”

The new official hotel, the Ramada Apollo, is located next to the Rembrandt Park and the ring road and is only 15 minutes by public transport to the centre of Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport. There will be a shuttle bus that will run between the Ramada Apollo and the Amsterdam RAI, which is where the iGaming Super Show will be held.

“Moving hotel was a tough decision for us,” added ODonnell. “But at the end of the day, while we loved having the Novotel as our official hotel in previous years, it simply didn’t have enough rooms to be the official hotel for the 2017 event. The Ramada is slightly further out, but we will be running shuttle buses from the hotel to the conference venue. And if you do want to stay at the Novotel, there are still few rooms available there.”
