Gala Casino, the leading online casino brand, has launched a brand new TV advertising campaign that will air until the end of February.
Promoting the launch of its new website, the new TV advert showcases Gala Casino’s updated brand position, new features available on the site, and consumer offers; positioning the online casino apart from its rivals.
Using a visual graphic simulation of a slot machine, the advert highlights the website’s new key features and will air from January on channels such as, Sky Sports, E4 and MTV. The new advert can be viewed here.
Gala Casino’s new website will deliver a simpler UI, as well as a more personalised experience via a series of innovative algorithms to deliver ‘what you want’ – as reinforced with the new strapline for Gala Casino.
The website has also been updated to include a modern, clean, modular and responsive approach, with a simplified interface, clearer navigation and filtering techniques.
Gala Casino has invested in conducting focus groups, as well as customer research, to deliver a complete customer-inspired website. The new layout encapsulates the new focus of delivering games, promotions and bonuses that players can enjoy without distractions.
The USPs for Gala Casino’s new website now include:
· Considerable Personalisation – The more that members play, the more their experience will be tailored to their choice of games and the preferences they like. This is due to the use of algorithms in the code which recognise playing patterns.
· Simplified User Experience – Due to a clearer ‘block’ style design, every game, promotion, tab and category has been simplified to help players find what they want more quickly, greatly enhancing users’ playing experience.
· My Pins – Pioneered mainly by social media sites in recent years, a ‘pin your favourites’ system has been introduced to aid members.
· Playing Recommendations – After members have pinned their favourites, the brand will once again use algorithms to follow that up with further game recommendations that fits users’ tastes.
· Categorisation – Every tab has been clearly categorised to make it easier to find. The inventive use of colour palettes banner system will underline this
Richard Leask, Head of Gala Casino, said: “We are excited to launch our new TV ad campaign celebrating the new website. Taking a customer-centric approach we are giving players the opportunity to pick the bonus they want, to pin the games they want to play and make recommendations based on their playing behaviour all through a simplified user experience. Gala Casino really will give players ‘what you want”.
He adds, “The new ‘What You Want’ brand proposition for Gala Casino is designed to give ‘cut through’ and differentiation in the busy UK market. We are looking forward to seeing the benefits of this imaginative work come to fruition by being one of the most successful – as well as cutting edge – online casinos in the business.”
The brand concept, and design for Gala Casino’s new TV advert was developed by Cravens, alongside 7 Stars agency who also conducted customer insight research for the new brand proposition.
Part of a wider marketing campaign for the launch of the new website, other activity will include PR, marketing and advertising.
