The World Poker Tour Deepstacks team has announced the first half of Season 4 with $3m in guarantees and a brand new stop at Maryland Live!
The World Poker Tour Deepstacks (WPTDS) team has announced the first half of Season 4, and it looks a cracker. Chris Torina and the team has released details of the first 10-events of 2017 including $3m in guaranteed prize money.
The newest season begins at the place of the WPTDS’s most recent record-breaker at The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Last season, Canadian Salomon Ponte beat 1,684 entrants in the $1,100 buy-in, $1m Guaranteed event to take home the $344,420 first prize. The buy-in and the guarantee will be the same when the event returns January 12-24 with the action streamed live on Twitch.
The Hollywood opener isn’t the only event to be showcased on the live streaming platform. The $1,600 buy-in event at Parx, the $1,500 buy-in event at bestbet Jacksonville, and the $1,100 buy-in event at the Hard Rock in Tampa are all heading to a computer screen near you.
Maryland Live! continues to grow its reputation as the up and coming new kid on the live tournament block as they play host to the WPTDS for the first time in April. The WPT has held several successful Main Events at the Maryland casino in recent times.
All events are unlimited reentry except the blockbuster $1m Guarantee in Hollywood which will be a 3-Day single re-entry per flight event.
