My Club Betting have secured the services of one of the biggest names in European Tour golf and sports management, Andrew ‘Chubby’ Chandler.

ISM chief Andrew Chandler backs grassroots sport via My Club BettingThe company focuses on driving badly-needed funds and providing sports kit to grassroots sports clubs, including golf.

My Club Betting recently launched an enhanced sportsbook that allows golf clubs and teams of any size to have their own customised betting site. The team’s members bet through the individual team’s service and 20% of the bookmaker’s net revenues return to the respective team or club.

The team also received free kit and equipment, dependent on the number of registered bettors.

The firm’s Managing Director, Neil Riches, said: “We are proud and delighted that Andrew is joining the My Club Betting ambassadorial team. Since leaving golf’s European Tour, Andrew has built ISM into one of the world’s leading and instantly recognisable Sports Management brands. To have him working with us will only benefit our existing and prospective golf clubs, and business partners.

“We will be working alongside Andrew in golf-related events around the country to help raise awareness of our contribution towards grassroots sport.”

The careers of many of the world’s top professional golfers, including Major winners Louis Oosthuizen, Darren Clarke, Ernie Els and Charl Schwartzel, as well as Lee Westwood, David Howell and 2016 US Masters champion Danny Willett, are managed by ISM.

Candler said: “I am delighted to be joining a company that focusses on giving back to clubs at a grassroots level. It is a wonderful business model.

“If you like the odd flutter – and many people do – betting via your team’s own service is an excellent way of creating your own revenue stream. To be able to receive cash back and equipment is a great deal, and one that no golf club should pass up.

“I know of no other bookmaking service that directly funds sport in this way, so I hope that my appearances at the events organised by My Club Betting can allow more people to become aware of the company and how it can benefit their club or team.”

Chandler will join Sunderland AFC manager Sam Allardyce, former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan, Flat jockey Jim Crowley and top Jumps trainer Emma Lavelle as a Brand Ambassador for the Caterham-based company.

My Club Betting is also the largest supplier of bespoke betting sites into grassroots sport, with the potential of 8,000 golf clubs across the UK taking the service.

The company is positioning itself to be one of the largest providers of grassroots funding in the UK.
