Royal Wins to Speak on Skill Gambling at iGA 2016 in Macau

World’s first: Skill gambling headlines Royal Wins’ interactive exhibition in Macau

Royal Wins to Speak on Skill Gambling at iGA 2016 in MacauThe upcoming iGaming Asia Congress will run from 21-23 Mar 2016 at the Grand Hyatt Macau and Royal Wins will be in attendance alongside representatives from Inteplay, WEBE Gaming, Google, Ladbrokes and more. Creative Director, Myles Blasonato, will speak to a room of industry professionals on Monday, 21st March for “Mobile Wagering and Gaming Day” to present “Skill Gambling: Is It Worth It?”

Blasonato will be sharing the company’s expertise based on their experience in the development of skill gambling social casino, the Kash Karnival. His presentation will discuss the psychology of skill gaming, which types of skill games are most suitable for social casino players, and the creation of a hybrid skill and chance gaming experience where players can bet and win on their skills while still maintaining a target Return-to-Player (RTP).

With the Kash Karnival, Royal Wins is among the first to step into the innovative field of skill gambling. Recent years have seen casino and gambling related games hit a plateau in innovation with the majority of developments maintaining an unchanged playing experience. “When it comes to casino games, there’s nothing new,” says Blasonato, “It’s just new visuals on the same slot games and same repetitive button pressing mechanics that isn’t appealing to the new generation.”

Royal Wins is not the only company suggesting skill gambling is the future. William Hill is well known as a “top dog” in the casino industry. Their recent Accelerator Program, which is geared at funding outstanding innovative development, saw William Hill supply funding to skill gambling startups, Skillzz. Gamblit Gaming works in the development of gambling video games not only online but also in land-based casinos in Nevada where they were granted license approval and have physical machines with skill games.

For the duration of the iGA exhibition Royal Wins looks to share and demonstrate the experience of skill gambling with an interactive exhibit where attendees can come and get a taste of the Kash Karnival – betting on their skill or chance to win real items and place on the leaderboard live at the conference.
