Vanessa Rousso is set to star in the Big Brother 17, alongside a pro wrestler, a dentist, a poker dealer and…Steve Silverman?
CBS has announced 14 of the suspected 16 members of the Big Brother 17 line up and two, possibly three, of our own are amongst the cast.
Former PokerStars Team Pro, Vanessa Rousso, has been selected to star alongside a personal trainer, a retail manager, a grad student, a retail associate, a server, a pro wrestler, a dentist, a digital media consultant, a college student, a marketing coordinator, an interior designer and a supermarket cashier in Big Brother 17.
Rousso fans will be able to see her like they have never seen her before as she attempts to survive in the Big Brother house longer than any of the other contestants. The camera will be on her 24/7 and you get the opportunity to follow via a live feed for a monthly CBS subscription. The new show premiers Wed 24 June, and Thu 25 June, with the Sunday action beginning on June 28.
The first live eviction is planned for Thu July 2, giving Rousso plenty of time to get in, get paid, and get the hell out in time to play in the $10,000 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. Rousso’s only cash of the summer so far has been a 1,558th place finish in The Colossus. In April she won a six-max side event at the World Poker Tour (WPT) National event in South Africa.
Fortunately for Rousso, she isn’t the only member of the poker community in the house. Rousso will be able to talk shop with 27-year old Da’Vonne Rogers, a poker dealer from Los Angeles who was encouraged to apply by her Grandmother.
But wait.
Is there another poker star in that house?
Is that…Steve Silverman?
