888.com partner with the 50 Yard Lounge for five days of fun, feast and football in the center of New York City to celebrate the Superbowl.
The 888.com U.S marketing bandwagon keeps on rolling after the Gibraltar based company signed a deal to marry up with the New York club The 50 Yard Lounge in a week of Superbowl madness.
Situated alongside Madison Square Garden, The 50 Yard Lounge, is a VIP hotspot that combines food, drink, dance and anything made of pig skin; and will be part of 888.com’s campaign to get noticed throughout Jan 29 and Feb 2 when the lounge will be open for it’s special Superbowl promotional period from 10am to 2am each day.
As part of the sponsorship agreement online players at us.888poker.com and us.888casino.com will be able to win exclusive ALL-ACCESS passes to the 50-Yard Lounge as part of its SUPER Tailgate promotion on both poker and casino sites.
Online poker players can also take part in special Bounty competitions where they can win a number of packages by eliminating a host of 50-Yard chefs, including Michael Carrino of Pig & Prince Restaurant & Gastrolounge.
“We are pleased to announce our participation in The 50 Yard Lounge,” said Brian Mattingley, CEO of 888 Holdings. “As 888.com is considered the premier gaming entertainment brand in New Jersey, we want to participate in events that truly are the best-of-the-best. The 50 Yard Lounge is just that – a VIP food, drink and entertainment destination showcasing the great talents of chefs from both sides of the Hudson. We’re also happy to be sponsoring some of the Garden State’s finest chefs participating in the event who will certainly give their Manhattan neighbors a run for their money.”
The five-day festival will see a whole host of A-list stars of food and music with the likes of Iron Chef Marc Forgione, multiple Michelin star chef Michael White, James Beard Award winner and Top Chef Just Desserts’ Judge, Johnny Iuzzini, as well as players including Joe Theismann, Doug Flutie, and Hall of Famer Cris Carter along with ESPN’s Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg all joining in the fun.
“The week leading up to the big game will be historic for New Yorkers, as we show why this city is the center of the food, sports, and entertainment worlds,” said Lonny Sweet, creator of the 50 Yard Lounge and founder of The Connect Group. “We’re going to provide a memorable experience that showcases some of the best chefs, athletes, and musical talent in the country during a week when all eyes are on New York.”
