Tri-lingual, Hong Kong resident, Jay Tan (@pocketjays), has signed up to keep Tatjana Pasalic (@tattytats) company in the hottest poker team in the world as the Bodog Recreational Poker Model launches in Asia. Jay’s signing coincides with the launch of a Chinese speaking client on the Bodog Poker Network and her fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese coupled with her poker prowess made her an irresistibly strong candidate. To date no other poker room has so specifically targeted itself directly to Chinese speakers and Bodog88 believe they can forge a new market for online poker.
Jay who confesses to regularly dreaming about getting leathered up, straddling a Ducati Monster and heading out on to the race track is the latest stunner to join Bodog’s poker team.
Jay is also pretty useful at the felts and recently came 2nd in the Red Dragon event at the Macau Poker Cup.
The adrenalin junkie is also a keen Mahjong player too – due in part to her aunt’s critically acclaimed book The Joy Luck Club in which bonding around the mahjong regularly features. Online mahjong is now the fastest growing game in Asia with an estimated 10,000,000 playing at any one time. Jay is a keen player of both online poker and mahjong and explains her decision to join Team Bodog.
