Bally Technologies Shanda Games Titan PokerGaming industry supplier, Bally Technologies, has announced an enterprise-wide agreement to provide systems solutions for six Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) casinos.

The news means Bally Technologies and its subsidiary Bally Gaming Canada will replace the slot and table-game systems at all six SIGA casinos, connected to approximately 1,870 gaming machines and 60 table games.

Bally will also install its award-winning iVIEW Display Manager player-user-interface with Elite Bonusing Suite, a press release stated.

President and Chief Operating Officer of Bally Technologies, Ramesh Srinivasan, said: “As we continue to build on our momentum in the Canadian market, we truly value the opportunity to create a strong partnership with SIGA.”

Bally’s Vice President and Managing Director of Canada, Robert J. Parente, added: “This successful systems RFP and procurement is yet another building block for Bally’s expanding alliance with the Canadian market. We are delighted by the progress and look forward to this exciting technology partnership.”

Chinese online game developer Shanda Games today announced its unaudited consolidated financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2011.

The company’s Q4 2011 Non-GAAP Financial Highlights demonstrated net revenues at $215.2 million, which is up 17.7% year on year. Gross profit was $137.1 million, up 18.3% year-on-year with a  gross margin of 63.7%, which was also up from 63.4% in Q4 2010 and 63.5% in Q3 2011.

Shanda’s Full Year 2011 Non-GAAP Financial Highlights include a net revenue increase of 17.3% year-on-year to $838.3 million and a gross profit increase of 21.5% year-on-year to US$530.8 million.

Commenting on the results, Chairman and CEO of Shanda Games, Mr. Alan Tan, said: “During the fourth quarter of 2011, we again delivered financial results that met our expectations and achieved multiple financial and operational records as our All-Star, All-Platform and All-Region strategy continues to yield strong results.
