Per Eriksson will take on the role as of 1st March 2012 and comes from a long and distinguished career in the computing and retail industries. Acting CEO Björn Krantz will continue in his role until Eriksson has donned the NetEnt helmet and is ready to assume the position.

 

Sportech-owned Vernons has officially launched its online casino and poker at Vernons.com. An initial trial period was successful and it means that customers can now benefit from a number of games, slots and arcade games on the platform run on Playtech’s software. Vernons is also entering the ultra-competitive poker marketplace with an offering that includes video poker.

 

Sports content provider Perform Group have appointed Peter Parmenter as a non-executive director with immediate effect. He comes with significant experience having held senior positions at EMI Records and Hutchison Telecom as well as his current post as head of new platforms and OEM at EA Interactive.

 

Betfred has gone to the visual airwaves again with an advert showing us what they have to offer in terms of their casino and games. Anyone stumbling upon the advert on Sky TV will be mightily disappointed though.
