PartyPoker Mac-ing out; Spreadex casino launches; Penn tables show good hustle

Mac OS X

Mac OS XBwin.party’s (Pwin) PartyPoker brand is now available as a downloadable program for all Mac users. The Mac OS X software allows users to play cash games only and follows a real money iPhone poker app being launched way back in January. If only gaining approval for Apple gambling industry programs was as easy as being let back into the US market; or getting money back onto the share price; or being allowed to operate unfettered in the German market; or…we know, it’s getting boring.

Spreadex customers will now be able to access an online casino as part of the company’s wide-range of services. The product has been launched in association with Amaya-owned Canadian firm Chartwell. It will mean that members of the site can now play table games, slots, card games, scratch cards, video poker, keno, hi-lo and a number of other games. This is all in addition to the spread betting, financial trading and fixed odds sports betting already offered.

Hold on. There’s more.

Mimicking a number of other firms in the online gaming industry, Spreadex has jumped on the successful live dealer bandwagon. It means that visiting a virtual casino you will be served by any of a number of fit casino workers who will tend to your every casino need. To celebrate: Mrs Spreadex will be living up to the company name and making sure it’s a good night at Spreadex Towers. That’s right, she’s putting on a gourmet spread for everyone.

Pennsylvania sign
Don't even need these signs!

Pennsylvania is lauding the decision to enter the table games market with gross table revenues increasing compared with last year. The number increased by a whopping 39% compared with the year before as the figure reached $51.4million. It meant that the state took home $8,298,316 in tax revenue and showed why it has become increasingly important in the state. Certainly makes up for the Phillies getting knocked out.
