English rugby league club Warrington Wolves has agreed a one-year partnership with independent UK bookmaker Betfred.com for this year’s Super League season. With the new agreement, Betfred.com will provide the Warrington Wolves with a betting facility on the club’s website. Additionally, Betfred will set up advertising boards around the club’s Halliwell Jones Stadium.
“We are delighted to have Betfred.com as our partners here at the club, a major player in the market place,” said Wolves’ sales & marketing controller Dave Hutchinson. “It fulfills the requests of many supporters here at Warrington Wolves at this very exciting time in or club development.”
“It’s fantastic to have an association with the Wolves and let’s hope we are paying out a few quid to their supporters this season,” said Betfred.com spokesperson Mark Pearson. “One thing for sure this Super League season is going to be extremely exciting and very very close.”
This latest move is part of a very active week for Betfred. Betfred didn’t sit around twiddling their thumbs waiting for Apple to accept gambling apps, they started their own mobile sites. Earlier this week the company unveiled their mobile gaming product to allow gamblers to bet on a wide array of sports with their mobile applications.
