BoothCollageFor those readers who don’t follow the English Premier League, Craven Cottage is the home stadium of Bodog Europe-sponsored Fulham FC. This past Sunday, in addition to hosting rivals Manchester United, the Cottage also hosted the first foray of the Bodog Brand into offline betting. Footie fans arrived at the Cottage to be greeted by the sight of Bodog Europe betting booths, as well as a bevy of beautiful Bodog Girls ready, willing and able to explain the intricacies of the booths’ inner workings.

Call it one small step for Bodog, one giant leap for gaming convergence. As Calvin Ayre has stated, as the gaming industry moves forward, convergence strategies will be integral in determining winners from losers. Watch this space for future developments, as BodogBrand licensees in Europe and Asia will soon be taking further strategic steps down the land-based gaming road.
