PartyGaming, Bwin, and PokerStars are among the operators now permitted to offer online poker in France following publication of regulations governing the game, which came out in the Official Journal of the Republic today. Apparently, though, the regulations provide little more than a beginner’s guide to poker, presumably because the only people playing will be French-based novices who ‘ave ‘ardly ‘eard of zis strange game zey call poqueur.
