Andy Roddick hasn’t won a major slam since the US Open in 2003, and he won’t be winning this year’s Wimbledon either. Roddick was upset today by the very unknown Yen-Hsun Lu in spectacular fashion, with Lu winning the fifth set 9-7 to take the match. It’s the same old story for Roddick who just never seems to be able to put it together at the right time. Roddick fought himself for much of the match, and seemed to only regain his poise in the fifth set, but by then Lu was brimming with confidence. Well, at least Roddick can find a pub and sit back and watch his American comrades in the World Cup…oh wait, that’s over too.
