Only yesterday Calvinayre.com reported that the French champions Olympique Marseille had become the latest club to sign a sponsorship deal with BetClic, but some football clubs are hoping for even more than just a shirt deal to salvage their parlous finances – namely desperate Liverpool, whose failure to qualify for the Champions League has left them in a world of pain.
