The Poker Players Alliance (PPA) had their say at the California State Senate Committee yesterday, outlining several suggestions for the Committee to consider to ensure that the intrastate licensing and regulation of online poker could be done in an effective, competitive manner. “We stand here to tell you that [online poker] unquestionably can be regulated, and in fact, already is being regulated, very effectively, across the globe in well-respected jurisdictions,” said John Pappas, executive director of the PPA.
