Arsenal’s Premier League match against Manchester United on Sunday may well have a crucial bearing on the outcome of the title race, and it will also mark a first for TV broadcasting.

BSkyB has stolen a march on England’s rugby team, whose sponsor O2 had announced that next week’s match against Wales is to be screened in 3D at 40 cinemas across the UK, by broadcasting the match in three dimensions in nine pubs throughout Great Britain.
