In this predominantly Muslim country, not only is gambling illegal, it’s also considered sacrilegious. Islam prohibits any type of gambling and as roughly 90% of the of the 237 million inhabitants are practicing Muslims, the country takes this issue very seriously. However, many of the citizens not morally opposed to gambling have found ways around the laws. Unfortunately, with total gaming prohibition, the gambling options available are so underground they’re completely unregulated.
