DC Lottery demonstration gamesThis episode of Perspectives Weekly reviews industry news from California, Washington, and Texas and news from DC Lottery and their journey towards online gambling.

The DC Lottery has rolled out some of their projected plans for online gambling while ironically, the state with the toughest online gambling laws, that being Washington State, has representative Jim McDermott proposing legislation to legalize and tax online gambling.
In Texas, Joe Barton is also working on a bill to regulate and tax online gambling.

In California, even though the online gambling push has hit a bit of a road block, that hasn’t stopped Playtech from gaining a foothold in the state. The California Online Poker Association, backed by Morongo Band of Mission Indians, has chosen Playtech as the software provider if and when online poker is launched in the state.

So it as it always seems to be the case, it’s three steps backwards and baby steps forward for the online gambling industry in the US.

J Todd also has a special announcement and offer from Winner Affiliates that affiliates won’t want to miss!
