Pokerstars the largest online poker site in the world has announced a partnership with the Circus Groupe, Belgium’s Circus  owner of the Casino de Namur land-based casino. The partnership will enable both companies to offer online poker under regulation of the Belgian Gaming Commission.

Under this partnership residents of Belgium will now be able to access Pokerstars and qualify for the biggest live events across the world, such as the PokerStars European Poker Tour.

For the land based Casino de Namur its an opportunity to tap into the online poker market and for Pokerstars the partnership is another big step in expanding to another market hungry for online poker. Other fairly recent additions to the PokerStars family include PokerStars.fr, which operates in France under the ARJEL license, as well as PokerStars.it, which operates in Italy and PokerStars.ee, which operates in Estonia.
