Ex-Expekt.com CTO joins Bodog Europe

Bodog Europe’s prolific growth has seen a number of top-tier hires over recent months and these look set to continue following the arrival of new Chief Technology Officer, AJ Thompson.

With Expekt.com successfully sold to the Mangas Group, Bodog Europe saw the opportunity to offer Thompson a new challenge, and it is one the IT expert was quick to grasp with both hands.

“Bodog Europe’s ability to take quick decisions makes them an attractive place to work but also gives them the flexibility to move faster than companies shackled by endless layers of bureaucracy,” said AJ. “In the igaming world that is an obvious advantage because the landscape is ever-changing and I have the opportunity and backing to do whatever it takes to have the best product in the European market.”

Patrik Selin, CEO of both the soon-to-be-launched Bodog Poker Network and more recently of Bodog Europe, added: “AJ will bring both drive and magnetism to Bodog Europe’s IT and over the next few weeks we will be unveiling a ground-breaking new plan of action that will highlight how determined this company is to be a real player in this ultra-competitive market.”
