University urges students to unleash poker ‘bots’ upon the world

Universities across Indiana are sponsoring something called the Poker Programming Contest, in which students will compete to see who can develop the ultimate poker-playing ‘bot’. That’s right — development of the scourges of online poker sites are being actively encouraged by university professors. In other news, researchers at the University of Great Fucking Idea have launched a competition to see who can come up with a grenade shaped like a Beanie Baby. Read more.
