I Calvin Ayre with Mohamed Al-Fayedmanaged to get along to Craven Cottage on Thursday to watch the mighty Fulham FC take on German rivals Wolfsburg in the quarter-finals of the Europa League. They looked after me great over there and my host, Fulham and Harrods owner Mohamed Al-Fayed, was in high spirits as I tucked into the spirits and watched the Cottagers win 2-1. It’s a pity they let in a last-minute goal at the end but they still take their advantage over to Wolfsburg which sadly I will miss; there are few cities in the world with a better red light district than Hamburg!

Apart from the freezing cold British weather I had a lot of fun and a lot of red wine with Mr Al-Fayed and his team and really hope Bodog Europe-sponsored Fulham can go all the way in this Cup – they’ve got nothing else to play for, are safe from relegation so believe me they are right up for the Europa League. Come on Fulham.

Also in attendance at the games after party hosted by Mr Al-Fayed was British actor Hugh Grant and the former manager of the English national team (and famous pussy dog Sven-Göran Eriksson), who is somehow heading off to the World Cup again this summer, this time as the coach of Ivory Coast.

I was there with Bodog Poker Network CEO Patrik Selin, who is one of the most respected online gaming CEO’s in the world and is in talks with Bodogbrand.com about another relationship with us in Europe. Stay tuned to this site for more breaking news on this.

While in London I also did one media interview and a video shoot of a night out on the town that will air here on CalvinAyre.com in a few weeks. There was me, a little person, two Thai girls, a Lithuanian girl, a Brazilian girl, one English lass, a Philippina, a body guard and everyone’s favourite London-based on-line gaming rogue Michael Caselli… I will leave it to the video to explain the details but it was a great trip to London. A few pictures have been posted on my Facebook and Flickr. The video will be here on the Calvin Ayre Tablog.
