Anything going by the name The Ministry of Communication and Information (Menkominfo), is going to set alarm bells ringing in the minds of free-thinking individuals – and in Indonesia the dingalingaling has reached deafening proportions as Menkominfo intends to ‘regulate’ internet multimedia content. The draconian draft is being opposed by the head of the Constitutional Court, who claims that the regulation is unconstitutional as it violates press freedom, and the people are petitioning hard.
