Yay! Britain wins Miss World – sort of

Okay, so the first Miss Britain pulled out because of a nightclub brawl and the second – a hardy soldier fresh from the war in Afghanistan no less – limped out of the contest with a sprained ankle but Britain still won Miss World – sort of.

Because Kaiane Aldorino, aka Miss Gibraltar, ended up being the 20/1 winner.

She may be Spanish-looking, Spanish speaking and come from a colony that was seized by the British in 1709 – but being as she comes from the Queen’s great empire means we can claim victory see.

Now, do I get my 20/1 winnings? No? What about a refund?
