Online gambling operator Mansion’s predominantly Asian-facing M88 brand is reportedly under investigation by UK gambling regulators, resulting in the brand losing its English Premier League sponsorship. EPL club AFC Bournemouth announced that it wouldn’t be renewing its shirt sponsorship deal with M88 when it expired Sunday. The Athletic reported that Bournemouth’s decision came after being informed that the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) was “currently looking at various aspects of M88 and Mansion Europe model and operations.”

A hacker allegedly involved in a “bitcoin-for-cards” scam is facing up to 20 years in jail after being found in possession of a device containing substantial quantities of stolen card numbers. Vitalii Antonenko of New York City has been charged by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, with the charges also carrying a maximum fine of $500,000.
