Cantor Gaming, the company that wants to bring mobile gaming to Nevada, has set up shop with The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and launched the Cantor Race & Sports sportsbook.
“The new Race and Sports Book by Cantor, with the latest in betting technology, spectacular design and prime sports watching location adds yet another unique and dynamic element to the already exciting scene at The Cosmopolitan,” said John Unwin, CEO of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
The new sportsbook, located on the second floor of The Cosmopolitan, is situated adjacent to Marquee Nightclub. It’s yet another venue for Cantor to showcase its proprietary mobile tablets which can be used at both the race and sports book and on the casino floor. Forty-three stations each featuring plush seating and viewing screens are equipped with Cantor’s proprietary In-Running sports trading technology.
“The Cosmopolitan is the most exciting new property on The Strip,” said Lee Amaitis, president and CEO of Cantor Gaming. “Its vision to bring a fresh, sophisticated and modern experience to Las Vegas in a world class venue, reflects our own mission to transform sports wagering through our ground-breaking technology.”
“The same innovation in technology that we have brought to Las Vegas has changed the way we live our lives in sectors as diverse as finance, travel and retail. The Cosmopolitan is a tremendous stage on which to continue to build our ‘sports trading’ franchise.” Amaitis added.
