Sprinkle slot recognised as industry’s leading innovation at Prague’s Spinnovation iGaming Summit
Malta, 10th May 2019 – Evoplay Entertainment, the game development studio, has cemented its reputation as one of iGaming’s pioneers after its 3D / VR slot Sprinkle was recognised as the leading innovation at Prague’s Spinnovation Summit.
The summit, dedicated to highlighting true innovation in the industry, culminated with the Spinnovator of the Year awards – with finalists selected by an expert panel to reflect the most inventive game mechanics, themes and ideas.
Evoplay Entertainment’s second 3D slot will soon be available on general release. By creating Sprinkle, it has responded to a new generation of players’ demands for more immersive, innovative gameplay.
The panel’s judges were particularly impressed with the title’s unique gameplay, mobile-first mechanics and the 360’ degree 3D / VR in-browser capabilities.
Sprinkle takes players into a fully enveloping world of fantastic mushrooms. Locked into the VR experience, players can rotate, zoom in and out, as well as swiping left or right on their mobiles to change their bets automatically.
Alexander Levchenko, CEO at Evoplay Entertainment, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won one of the industry’s most prestigious awards for innovation. There is so much fantastic technology available for development studios to harness, and the emerging generation of players need an entirely new approach.
“The future of slots is all about creating a gaming experience that responds to the patterns of behaviour of the new generation. We’re looking forward to kick-starting this future and making slots more immersive than ever before!”
