More than $1 million guaranteed and 27 events scheduled for first NJ Spring Championship Of Online Poker
ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – April 26, 2016 – With $1.1 million in guaranteed prize money, the first-ever PokerStars New Jersey Spring Championship of Online Poker (NJSCOOP) will be the richest online series ever held in the region, PokerStars, an Amaya Inc. (Nasdaq: AYA; TSX: AYA) brand, revealed today. The first NJSCOOP will take place from May 15-29 featuring 27 events across two stakes (Low and High), meaning a total of 54 tournaments will be on offer.
The 15-day schedule features a wide range of tournaments at a variety of different buyins to suit players of all bankrolls. The prestigious two-day NL Hold’em Main Event will feature buy-ins of $50 (Low) and $500 (High) with guaranteed prize pools of $30,00 and $200,000 respectively. Daily online qualifiers to all the events are running now at PokerStarsNJ.com, with satellites starting from just $1.

PLAYER OF THE SERIES LEADERBOARD
PokerStars NJSCOOP players can also compete for Leader Board prizes and the Player of the Series award, with points awarded on a sliding scale for cashing in events. The most successful and consistent players across both stakes will also be rewarded for their achievements with more than $10,000 in prizes to be given away. The overall leaderboard winner will receive a trophy, a special live event ticket and $2,000 cash. The live event ticket will be for an exciting to-be-announced live event. Other cash prizes are available for players who make the leaderboard.
