Publisher Michael Caselli, or Lyceum as some know him, was found lifeless at East London’s ExCeL exhibition centre that is set to play host to ICE Totally Gaming next week. Swedish gambling firm Betsson has made its first move into the social gambling industry after a deal was tied up with Florida-based OneUp Games. MyFootball Connect is the first to be released under the terms of the deal and it allows players to compete against friends in a bingo style game that is currently only based on the FA Premier League. The app can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store with Google Play and Facebook apps coming soon. CEO Magnus Silfverberg added: “This is an interesting new segment for our operational subsidiaries and we want to learn more about its potential. We are very excited about this new product and the partnership with One-up.”
3D-gaming firm BetSoftGaming have partnered with Betaland to allow the company to utilize more than 100 different titles. The deal means the latter also benefits from the entire Slots3 portfolio of video slots.
Scandinavian casino firm Mr Green has appointed Marcus Nylén as CEO. Nylén began the new role today and will be working out of the company’s HQ in Malta. He has a reputable background in the Swedish technology industry and replaced the former CEO Mikael Pawlo who will stay within the Green Gaming Group and work on another project.
The Alderney Gambling Control Commission have appointed a new commissioner in the shape of Lord Faulkner of Worcester. The Lord has worked on a number of betting and gambling issues for the UK government and begins his five year term in place of the departing Ray Birdseye.
