The recently held 4th iGaming Idol Gala Awards in Malta has recognized yet again the crème de la crème of the iGaming space—this time not just individuals, but also deserving companies and their contributions.

Graced by the industry’s gorgeous women and sleek lads in their black-tie ensemble, iGaming Idol Group prepared a glamorous night to celebrate individuals, whose expertise in their field of work has stood out among others within the iGaming sector. To celebrate also meant tenths of party poppers distributed across the entire arena available for the audience to pop in revelry and merriment as presenters revealed this year’s nominees and winners. And sure they did each time a winner was announced!

Presenting for the first time was CalvinAyre.com’s Stephanie Tower, who flew all the way from Manila to stand in for Becky Liggero, who happened to be getting married the day after the festivity. BUT Liggero’s presence was not missed at all. Liggero, who’s known in the industry as “Becky,” appeared on screen donning a wedding veil and opened the show. In the video, she appeared to be checking her wedding list, and hilariously crossing out some people like resident iGaming Idol presenter Michael Caselli from attending her wedding for being, as what she said, a “douchebag.” Becky, in a voice-over this time, introduced the two presenters to the stage with Tower ass-smacking Caselli before they started the show, something Caselli might have wished and/or expected to happen hosting with a cheeky Asian presenter.

Caselli, being one of this year’s judges, shared how the nominees have undergone a rigorous judging process by an independent set of leading experts from the industry. Each award had its own set of a judging panel. There were 20 awards given all throughout the evening—from account management to sales to creative and the rest. Four of which fall under Special Categories where companies and individuals are recognized for their extraordinary contributions to the iGaming industry. These are Employer of the Year, Employer Branding of the Year, CEO of the Year, and the most significant of all, the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry. This accolade was given to that individual who has contributed significantly not just to the growth of the industry but to every single person in the room that night.

The awards show ended with Caselli making a toast to Becky and her fiancé Peppe’s new journey as husband and wife, and congratulating all iGaming Idols who got nominated and won this year.

Congratulations to all the 2019 winners and the organizers for the successful iGaming Idol Awards!
