Clarion Gaming ’s Start-up Launchpad has become a well-established and reputable competition that each year debuts a number of gaming start-ups in front of top industry decision-makers and investors. EiG welcomes start-ups again this year for the 9th Start-up Launchpad competitionStart-ups such as Colossus Bets, FSB Tech, Fresh8 Gaming, Imperus (now Tangelo Games), BlueBat (acquired by GreenTube), NumberFire (acquired by FanDuel), Casino VR and Lucky VR have benefited from the exposure and the opportunity to meet investors and potential commercial partners.

Last year’s EiG start-up winner, 1SpinMillionaire, re-confirmed its success by then winning the GamCrowd Pitch ICE competition, being invited to other industry events, and signing up a number of commercial contracts. Martin Cagalinec, Co-founder and CEO of the company, summed up his decision to pitch at the EiG Launchpad: ‘One of the best decisions I have taken. We were taken aback by the interest that followed our pitch. It was a great learning experience as well and a gateway to the first league of iGaming.’

Organised in partnership with GamCrowd, up to five start-ups get selected in a submission process that draws applications from around the world. The finalists, mentored by the long-time Launchpad partner and the competition host, Melissa Blau, get to pitch their propositions live at the event in Berlin in front of the judging panel of investors and a room full of iGaming executives. The winner is selected by the audience vote. The start-ups also receive a small complimentary exhibition space where they can exhibit their products throughout the three days of the show.

EiG takes place in Berlin on 30 October – 1 November 2017. Start-ups interested in participating should visit the EiG website www.eigexpo.com to find out the rules and to apply.
