Welcome to the evening’s coverage of the 2016 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event.
Three players are remaining in the hunt for the $8m first prize and here are the chip counts at the start of proceedings.
Chip Counts

Cliff Josephy – 50,000,000
The night started fast when Cliff Josephy doubled through Qui Nguyen on the first hand. It went a little something like this:
The chip leader opened to 2,700,000 on the button, Cliff Josephy three-bet to 8,500,000 in the small blind, and Gordon Vayo folded the big blind. Back to Nguyen and he four-bet to 20,900,00; Josephy moved all-in for 49,800,000 and Nguyen made the call.
