Jersey Company Merge Attracts Senior Business Leaders

Jersey Company Merge Attracts Senior Business LeadersTwo Jersey technology businesses have merged to form the islands most comprehensive eGaming company. Twelve40 have combined their operations with software platform architects and web designers Indigo Code Collective. They now all work under the Twelve40 brand.

From their head office in Jersey, Twelve40 will concentrate on leveraging the latest technology to deliver state of the art platforms for lottery and interactive games content to operators on a global scale.

The merger has attracted some high-calibre appointments to join the already established teams. Former Director of Digital Jersey, Andrew Jarrett, has been appointed CEO. Nigel Renouf, formally of Calligo, joins as Business Development Director.

  • Andrew Jarrett has a proven track record in guiding high performing teams to capitalise on trends emerging from the digital economy. As Director of Digital Jersey, he handled the successful launch of the eGaming proposition for the Island, curated and presented Jersey’s first Fintech conference and was instrumental in driving Jersey’s digital and Fintech agenda.
  • Jarrett’s technical knowledge and understanding of highly competitive markets will support the vision of Twelve40 to globalise their cutting-edge lottery and games platform. In his new role, he will focus on engaging markets and taking them from physical lotteries to delivering online content. He will be working with operators, local governments, clubs and country lotteries to deliver seamless online solutions, whilst enabling foundations and charitable organisations to benefit from funds raised.
  • Business Development Director Nigel Renouf has worked with clients across the globe providing multi-jurisdictional Cloud Solutions and has spent over a decade working in the datacenter and online gaming sector. He has extensive experience of building business in new markets. In his new role, Mr. Renouf will be focusing on client relations and development of the international business pipeline.

Twelve40 became the first operator to be granted a remote gambling operator’s Licence by the Jersey Gambling Commission in 2015. The licence allows Twelve40 to base its systems in Jersey and licence its software to customers around the world. Working in collaboration with Indigo Code Collective, they developed and launched Islands Lotto: a completely new and independently run online lottery.

The company had to meet strict criteria set by the commission including guaranteeing a robust, reliable and fair service, ensuring it manages problem gambling and adhering to the strict rules relating to age verification and levels of play to ensure responsible operation.

  • Islands Lotto launched earlier this year bringing an online solution that had never been available to Island residents before. At least 15% of all sales go to good causes in the Island.

Andrew Jarrett, CEO, Twelve40, says:

‘The merger of Twelve40 and Indigo Code Collective is an important milestone in Jersey’s digital vision. This cohesion delivers a strong team with global export prospects and ambition.

Our sophisticated platform is built using the very latest technology and is already attracting worldwide attention. Nigel and I will be focusing on globalising this platform and working with chosen partners to deliver digital innovation in the sector whilst adding value to good causes.

Twelve40 will highlight Jersey’s capability as a technological centre and as an attractive location for eGaming companies.’
