29 September 2014, London – Geonomics, the creator of location-based lotto games, has launched its flagship game GeoLotto.com to the UK market. Designed to revolutionise lotto gaming, GeoLotto.com offers players the chance to win £1 million every week.
Operated by Geo24, the game uses the familiar Google Maps interface to divide the UK into purchasable squares. It enables users to pick locations which may have personal relevance to them instead of the conventional number selection offering presented by traditional lottery games. Squares are entered into a prize draw each Saturday, with cash prizes of £5 to £1 million available to the owners of winning squares.
The launch of GeoLotto.com took place on Monday 22nd September and the first draw held on Saturday 27th September. A multi-million pound media launch campaign is now under way, featuring peak-time TV adverts voiced by television star, Keith Lemon alongside online and print promotion.
Henry Oakes, Co-founder and Director of Sales at Geonomics, says:
“I am delighted to see GeoLotto.com, our latest development hit the UK market. This marks a significant milestone in our journey to present an innovative, well-tested and engaging location-based lotto game that we know players will enjoy playing.
