Equity Poker Network launches, promises level playing field for operators

poker-networks-player-segregation-systemsA new online poker network has announced its launch with the tenet of providing small and medium size online poker operators an opportunity on what it describes as a “fairer future”.

The network, called Equity Poker Network, wants operators to feel at ease with their businesses and EPN wants to be the network that can provide balanced profit and cross cage, ensuring that operators can enjoy the benefits of the business without worrying about losing money and players along the way.

Clive Archer, the man behind EquityPokerNetwork.com, was candid on what he believes the new network can offer operators. “We’re rewriting the rules to provide small and medium size businesses with an opportunity to offer their players online poker without losing their shirts each month to cross cage and sharp players,” he said. “We understand how valuable player wallets are to operators, and can now offer a solution with our new cooperative poker network where everyone wins.”

Needless to say, there are huge ambitions coming from Equity Poker Network who believe that innovations in areas where there’s significant concern for many operators are important in ingratiating itself into a hugely competitive market. The announcement of Equity’s launch also coincided with a separate mention that it has already signed up a number of significant operators. As part of its business strategy, Equity is offering multiple business models that will provide a multitude of services to operators from all over the world. Among these models, important attention was paid to  Risk Management, which  provides both players and operators with what EPN calls “Clearing House Functionality”, a system wherein funds are held “to cover cross cage liabilities and to ensure players money is always available”.

EPN will also redistribute profits back to operators based on contribution while also offering low fixed fees for these operators to be part of the network. Less restrictive rules will also be imposed on promotions, providing operators the leeway to cut costs, improve their liquidity, and most importantly, set up a level playing field wherein operator size isn’t an advantage.

“Equity Poker Network is on track to make many operators leap at the chance to become a part of the cooperative, sick of the month on month costs of having online poker as the black sheep of their product set – now they will have something to really get behind,” Archer explains.

“With rock solid software that has been tried and tested for over 10 years we are certain that creating this new fairer playing field for both operators and players is going to provide a huge relief to all that will be joining our Network over the coming months.”
