Printing solutions provider, FutureLogic, has announced the appointment of Laurent Gaubout as its agent for France, Monaco and the French-speaking parts of Switzerland.
In a company statement, Laurent said: “I have always regarded FutureLogic as the leading company for ticket printers and I’m proud to represent them in my home market. And now with the PromoNet solution being launched in Europe, I have a very beneficial product in my portfolio to offer casinos in this region.”
In his new role, Laurent will promote FutureLogic’s range of thermal ticket printers and the PromoNet promotional couponing solution to all casinos in the territory. FutureLogic’s Vice-President for International Markets, John Edmunds, added: “With the European launch of our PromoNet couponing solution at the coming ICE Show in January, it became imperative that we add a local sales presence in the French-speaking markets.”
Games developer, Leap Forward Gaming, has partnered with supplier of innovative automated transactions solutions for the banking, gaming and retail industries: JCM Global, a press release confirms.
The deal will see a “collaborative development effort” to integrate LFG’s PlayPal casino cashless payment solution as part of LFG’s wireless SaffariNet ecosystem. Through JCM’s connections, LFG will collaborate with mobile phone payment system developer TechFirm as part of the deal.
A company statement revealed that this will inturn lead to a casino system where casino patrons will be able to “use their mobile phones to conduct transactions at gaming machines and other devices that use bill validators to accept both currency and mobile e-money”.
LFG CEO, Ali Saffari, said: “TechFirm is clearly a leader in the mobile payment field and consumer use of mobile phones as digital wallets is spreading rapidly worldwide. With close collaborative efforts with regulators, we are meticulously crafting PlayPal™ to be a highly-secure, user-friendly cashless solution that will satisfy regulatory agencies, operators and manufacturers alike.”
According to LFG, several editors of gaming trade magazines called the technology “the most exciting they saw on the entire show floor”.
Another game developer, APEX Gaming Group, has also had something to get off its chest, announcing the receiving of both the manufacturing and product licence for the Greek casino market.
The news means APEX Gaming both its upright cabinets, the Pinnacle 22” and the Dual Slim Line 19”, are now licensed for sale to Greek casinos.
Owner and CEO of the APEX Gaming Group of Companies, Johannes Weissengruber, said: “We are proud to have received this important certification. The Greek casino market remains very important and strategic regardless of current trading conditions. The fact that we have received the licence now underlines our belief that the Greek casino market will remain of major importance”.
