Neo Games ChristmasAs the provider of online scratch cards and instant win games, Neogames today announced its newest Christmas game with a gi-normous £2,000,000 top prize. Exactly what you need when you’ve grown up and realised Santa doesn’t exist.

Appropriately named “Christmas Joy”, the new release is Neogames’ official holiday scratch card and will apparently: “provide the player with a warm, cozy and festive atmosphere that includes all the excitement of the traditional opening of the presents and decorating the Christmas tree”. Hmm, maybe if you win on them, that is. We’re sure if you lose, it’s not as fun as opening presents. Unless your family is mean enough to give you gift wrapped empty boxes to you for the festive season.

Managing Director at NeoGames International, Shay Bar-Josef, said: “Christmas Joy is our highest paying game ever, offering a whopping £2,000,000 top prize. This is a limited edition game because it will only be available around the holiday season time.”

The Christmas Joy scratch card is filled with beautiful ornament pairs and their matching presents. Each ornament pair costs £2 with a maximum of 5 ornament pairs that decorate the Christmas tree per game. Players who will reveal matching ornament pairs will win the prize inside the relevant present underneath the tree. Beats opening another pair of socks. Thanks grandma.

Neogames’ new Christmas scratchcard; Amaya Gaming awarded lottery contract; Aristocrat expand European cabinet optionsTechnology based entertainment solutions provider, Amaya Gaming Group also had something to share today. It announced that it has been awarded an exclusive 10-year contract with the Government of the Republic of Armenia. This will see it implement a national lottery and to provide central reporting and integrity services.

Deployed through both traditional sales channels and SMS, this means Amaya will install and deploy the Amaya Central Reporting Module (CRM) on all electronic gaming devices operating in the Republic of Armenia for the next 10 years.

We bet your wondering what “the Amaya CRM” is right? Well, in a press release, Amaya states that it provides the government with real-time reporting tools to capture and monitor gaming transactions, improve tax efficiency and promote gaming integrity.

President and Chief Executive Officer of Amaya, David Baazov, said: “We are very pleased to begin a mutually beneficial long-term relationship with the Government of Armenia. Our lottery and integrity solutions are providing us with a platform to expand our technology footprint and grow our relationships with customers in new jurisdictions.”

According to the statement, the agreement “represents a significant milestone as Amaya’s first mandate to install the Amaya CRM and further strengthens the Company’s position as a provider of comprehensive government gaming solutions”.

Aristocrat Vii Slant cabinetGlobal provider of gaming solutions Aristocrat Technologies must have felt a little left out with all the announcements today, so it went ahead and made its own, revealing the expansion of its range of cabinet options for European gaming floors.

The announcement signals the release of its Vii Slant cabinet, designed exclusively as an alternative housing for its vast library of GEN7 games.

Capable of hosting all of the games available in standard Viridian WS format, the Vii Slant has been re-engineered with a sleek reduced footprint, enhanced ergonomics for players and easier accessibility for operators.

Aristocrat Europe’s Senior Regional Sales Manager, Damien Greig, explained the new cabinet was designed to enhance the experiences of both players and operators. He said: “Aristocrat’s portfolio of powerful GEN7 games continues to multiply and our Vii Slant offers yet another refined way for players to enjoy the gaming experience with added flexibility for operators’ varying lay out needs.”

In a company statement, the Vii Slant cabinet is said to incorporate 22-inch upper and lower widescreen LCD panels positioned at angles designed to minimise glare and flanked by ambient lighting strips. Sounds delicious.

Holland Casino’s Marketing Manager, Jelle van Battum, said: “The new Vii Slant option fits our need for open and relaxed gaming floors and also allows us to include some exciting Mega Pay and Multi Mega Pay games on a section of the Groningen gaming floor in keeping with the current environment.”

The new 13-button low profile button panel comes as standard on Vii Slant, with the option to upgrade to Nteractiv LCD programmable button technology depending on approval. And it’s never been easier to reach those holes. The card reader, note acceptor and ticket printer have all been positioned between the lower LCD screen and button panel, allowing easier reach for both player and operator. Are you looking forward to the new cabinets? We bet you are!
